Olive Grove Voice Studio, nestled in the heart of Queens, offers more than just voice lessons—it’s a welcoming community where students of all ages find support, encouragement, and expert guidance from Olivia Grugan, a seasoned mezzo-soprano and dedicated teacher.
Specializing in one-on-one lessons, audition preparation, beginner piano, and tailored support for performances, Olivia’s approach is deeply personal and rooted in experience.
What truly makes Olive Grove special is its commitment to creating confident, expressive singers. Whether preparing for choral concerts, theatrical roles, or simply wanting to grow musically, each student is met with warmth, sincerity, and a true love for the art of singing.
Meet Olivia
Your Voice Teacher & Coach
Growing up in New York City, I’ve been singing for my entire life. I started with local community theatres, and then began formal training in high school and college. Although my training was in performance, I always found that sharing music with others was how I felt the most fulfilled. Plus, it was always through teaching that my technique improved! After college, I began taking on some private students and began getting formal training in early childhood education.
As my performing career blossomed and then changed through the pandemic, my studio was a constant source of energy and inspiration. Before I knew it, I was a full time private teacher with a full studio of students from every corner of the five boroughs, and the Olive Grove Voice Studio was born!
